Washington’s Source For New Work

Thanks for ten fantastic
years of Source Festivals!

CulturalDC Family

Since 2008, CulturalDC has produced the award-winning Source Festival, which served as a vehicle for launching new plays and fostering the careers of emerging artists. After a decade-long run, CulturalDC will bring the Festival to a close.

In September 2017, CulturalDC launched SPACE4: Arts. Through this new initiative, CulturalDC will bring visual and performing artists, to the front steps of DC neighborhoods, with an immersive mobile art gallery (made from a shipping container), and through partnerships with communities and non-traditional venues across the city.

Everyone at CulturalDC is grateful to the 1,500+ artists that made Source Festival possible for the last decade. We are eager to see what grows from the roots we help plant in the Nation’s Capital and across the country.

See the Washington Post article for details for tonight’s SPACE4 performing arts opening at Blind Whino – 700 Delaware Ave SW (7pm-11pm)
